Welcome to Babes + Letters, a space where creativity meets imagination, and every piece carries a touch of magic. I'm Sam, the heart behind the brand, and a mother to four little loves who inspire me to see the world with wonder every day.

Artistic expression, in one form or another, has always been a huge part of my life. Before having children, I spent many years as a dance teacher, where I found joy in guiding children through the beauty of movement, from ballet to contemporary. That love for creativity, connection, and storytelling stayed with me, influencing everything I do. It wasn't just about the art of dance, it was about the stories told through the artistry, and the emotions expressed through movement.

Now, as a self-taught graphic designer, I continue to channel that creative energy into Babes + Letters. What began as a way to express myself has grown into something so much bigger, something that fills my creative cup through the journey of motherhood. It has become a beautiful way to nurture my passion for all things creative, while staying connected to the magic and wonder of childhood.

My 'why' is rooted in a deep desire to bring the magic of childhood, those fleeting moments of wonder and imagination, into the homes of other families. I want to create pieces that don't just look beautiful, but spark joy, inspire connection, and gently encourage parents and children to discover new stories and moments of shared imagination together.

Each piece within our beautiful collections is a labor of love, crafted with care and countless hours of creativity. Some are drawn by me, while others incorporate beautiful elements from talented artists and creative hearts that I've carefully curated from around the world. Every detail is blended with care to create something truly unique, reflecting my personal style and vision for Babes + Letters.
