Welcome to Babes + Letters, a space where creativity meets imagination, and every piece carries a touch of magic. I’m Sam, the heart behind the brand and a mother to four little loves who inspire me to see the world with wonder every day.

Motherhood is at the heart of everything I do, and deeply inspires my creativity, which has always been a central part of my life. From teaching dance, to creating art, storytelling, and crafting, this passion now flows into how I nurture my children and how I create for Babes + Letters.

Early in my motherhood journey, I leaned into my love for creativity. It was a comforting anchor on those days when motherhood felt overwhelming. It began as a personal outlet, but quickly turned into something more. Now, as a self-taught graphic designer and illustrator, I create art prints, keepsakes, and children’s wear, inspired by both my own childhood, and the magic of raising my beautiful daughter and three darling sons alongside my wonderful husband.

Each collection is created with the joy and wonder of childhood in mind, blending nostalgia and whimsy to spark imagination and bring happiness to families like yours. Some designs are illustrated by me, while others feature carefully curated elements from talented artists all over the world. Each piece is thoughtfully and lovingly created by me, for you and your little loves, while reflecting my own personal style and vision for Babes + Letters.
